PROS: The location is phenomenal, love the area! There are lots of great stuff near by. I don' t have a car and so far I don't feel like I need one (remote work). The apartment itself is very nice, great flooring, great fixtures, lots of space. It feels cozy and contemporary. Very excited to host guests and show off this place.
CONS: The walls are VERY thin. I can hear complete conversations at normal volume from our upstairs neighbor (no one below us as of now - fingers crossed). I can hear... every single step they take, every step their dog takes, every word to every song they play or show they watch. Additionally the building's common areas have gotten pretty dingy - a lot of scuffed walls, stained carpet, and the motion activated lights aren't very sensitive so the hallways can feel a little dark.
OVERALL: Still worth it for me, I think knowing what I know I'd still want to live here, but if you're sensitive to other people's noise (or intimate details of their lives lol), it might be worth finding somewhere with thicker floors and walls.
