Partially furnished private 2nd floor bedroom in a lovely old 1850s farmhouse 30 minutes from York, 45 minutes from Lancaster, and an hour from Baltimore. Rent includes a private room with and full access to the kitchen, laundry room, two shared bathrooms, plenty of parking, outdoor space, and covered porches. Internet and utilities are included, cats welcome but must remine in your room, No dogs please. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils and appliances that are shared and free to use. The house is out in the country which is quiet and peaceful. You can see the stars at night and a beautiful sunset from the front porch in the evenings. There are only minimal commercial shops nearby so you will need a vehicle to make it “into town” for any amenities. A few people are currently living in the house together as well as a few cats. Everyone has their private spaces but come together once in a while to chat, hang or make dinner. Folks have different schedules so there is always some level of activity, but for the most part it is quiet and a generally chill vibe. House is close to Otter Creek Nature Preserve, Indian steps museum, A wildlife sanctuary and many walking trails. Local farms abound with veggie and fruit stands in season. Don't miss the local wine trails. Utilities included in the lease: WST, gas, electric, propane. WIFI Utilities paid by Tenant: None Appliances Included: Range, Refrigerator, microwave, washer / dryer. Parking Off Street Tenant provided window units for cooling. 1st-month rent is due at move-in. Security Deposit due at lease signing. Those with low credit scores may be asked to pay the first month's rent, last month's rent, and security deposit to move in. An income of 2x's the monthly rent is required. Good rental history required. Anyone with past evictions, owing a past landlord or multiple landlord tenant court filings may not be approved.
