My husband and I have been living at Lower Burnside now for almost 2 years and I can't believe how lucky we got on our first place in Portland. Our apartment is brand new, very well made, gorgeous wood floors, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful quartz countertops with solid wood open shelving system in the kitchen. We absolutely love the way we've made Lower Burnside our home and it's really all thanks to the awesome Management Team who make sure the property is always in it's best condition.... (Thank you, Jessica, John, and Caleb!!) They are always here for us and go above and beyond. The building is not as big as other buildings in Portland so there is a close-knit sense of community - we have made life-long friends with some of our neighbors here. John holds Friday night happy hours on the Skylounge, which are always fun and having the Skylounge with a grill, place to chill, and the East side's best view is such a huge bonus! The location is as central as possible and so close to some of the best restaurants in Portland. Our favorite places to frequent in our neighborhood are: Market of Choice and Sheridan Market (grocery stores), Modern Times (brewery), Enso (wine bar), J&M (breakfast), Thai Champa (fast food cart), Coava (coffee shop), Nicolas Restaurant, Century Bar (to watch games), and the list goes on and on. I really can't say enough great things about Lower Burnside. Oh, one last thing -- super dog-friendly building and close to a dog park. We love it here :) Thanks again to the amazing Berkshire crew!
