I have lived here for approximately 15 months, and am relocating to Texas for my new job. Whitehorse is mostly occupied by very friendly, working class folks that are respectful to one another, its a quiet place, the maintenance staff and security guys stop to talk to you, get to know you, and keep an eye out for the residents. The management is friendly, and sociable. As it was in my case, I travel extensively for work, and often get packages delivered to my doorstep when I am not home. ... Between Tawnya, Josh, and Sharma, they always have my back and pick up those deliveries and hold them for me until I get back home. They are great at real-time communications. This is a SAFE, and peaceful community. I previously lived in "the gated apartment complex across the street" and it was nice, however, it was full of college-aged kids that partied, were often loud into the wee hours of the night. I hated that! But here are Whitehorse, people are responsible, respectful, and just great neighbors in general! I just moved in and the move in experience was quick and easy. The women in the office are very knowledgeable and the maintenance seems very sincere with their jobs.

The apartments are very nice and spacious. Office staff is very friendly and helpful and Josh your maintenance man is very knowledgeable about the property. Was a very pleasant experience with all involved

I lived here for 4 years and it's a good complex, overall I recommend living here! Very quiet, even though it is right off a main road. The exterior was painted in 2024 & the buildings have new gutters and it was a nice facelift for the apartments.
-The residents are mostly quiet and respectful. The apartments are older and not very sound proof so you'll hear your neighbor slam cabinet doors, flush their toilet or play their music too loud but it's not bad. It really is a safe and family... friendly environment with everyone from young professionals, new families and retired couples. You'll get to know your neighbor here because tenants stay for a long time.
-There is a pool/common area with a gazebo and charcoal grill but that's it as far as amenities go. The apartments are from the 1980's and show some wear and tear, the windows are single-pane and can be drafty, the floorboards are uneven in places and when I moved in my AC unit was the original from 1984. (It has been replaced with a new one)
-The location is nice because you are right off the Turnpike and Route. 66 so traveling into OKC is convenient and I like how close the apartments are to Lake Overholser for all the recreation activities. My AC hasn't worked in two years. Its 80 degrees in my apartment despite the $270 electric bill because the unit runs non stop, it just doesn't work. Currently trying to obtain a copy of the last years lease because they have made up obnoxious fees that I never agreed to. They also wont help you do anything, weather its repair your apt or reset you log in, you are on your own. If you can even get a response. Just don't.
