The place is cozy and has character. Some of the issues with the building are due to its age, but for the price, you can't beat it. Neighbors are friendly and you're in walking distance to many great places including restaurants, grocery stores and the like. Management is responsive and my utility bills are never more than $80 a month total. I'd recommend it for a great starter apartment. Kitchen is too small for my taste but I'm a professional chef. It suits others just fine.
