This place was disappointing. Especially for the price, they have raised the price this year and for what you get (and don’t get) I don’t think it is worth it, especially because they have not updated anything over the time that we have been there, so there is no reason for a price increase.
I’ll start with the laundry. When we toured the complex we were told that the laundry facility was being renovated. A year later, I never saw anyone working on it. And it was still not done. We were told... that we had to walk across the street to another apartment complex and use their laundry which was in their basement. I ran into a resident of that apartment complex at one point and he said our complex had been coming over for TWO years.
There is not central heating and air in the apartment, and is only one ac and heating unit, which doesn’t circulate past the living room. So in the summer You will sweat every night while sleeping in the bedroom.
I know this part is not the apartment complex’s fault, but anyone thinking of living here should know. There is a lady who doesn’t live there but takes a parking spot every day, gets in screaming matches with one of the other residents, and steals packages. One day we found her with one of our packages in hand and when we asked her about it she said she was putting it in her car so nobody else would steal it. Many other packages that we have ordered have “been delivered” And we have never seen them.
It is a no smoking building and yet our stairwell smelled like weed or smoke, every single day.
In our stairwell some of the residents put rocks in front of the door to the stairwell (which stays locked so homeless people don’t get in) we had numerous emails from management saying that people needed to stop propping those doors open because homeless people keep getting in the stairwells. We hid the rock they used so many times, and they always found a new one.
At one point, all of the gutters fell down off of the building due to strong wind, and were never replaced. There was also a week where the gutters were just hanging down off the building and nobody came to get them, and they would fall at random times.
There is also always dog poop in the yard, everywhere. Nobody there picks up their dogs poop.
