My son lived here for a year and we were overall happy with the apartment. However, the owner is difficult to work with and rude if ever questioned about anything. In twelve months she contacted my son three times to say he was late with rent, when in reality it was there and on time. She had not bothered to go through her mail before contacting him but never apologized. Again, nice apartment but owner’s communication, personal and management skills leave a lot to be desired.

The Monnett Apartments were absolutely wonderful. I lived there two years, they were very clean and well kept and loved the location. The management was the best, it is locally owned they quickly responded to any request. I highly recommend the Monnett Apartments to anyone. Told my younger brother and his friends to rent there also.

We paid for a cleaning lady to come in and make the place look spotless. The owners held our deposit from us saying the cleaning exceeded the 1200 dollar deposit. I do not recommend moving into these because they will hold out the deposit. There was no need for any cleaning service on their behalf.

The charges were not for cleaning they were for damages to the apartment. There were huge holes in the walls and doors. The chargers were for the replacing the doors patching walls and repainting the apartment.
