I’ll preface this by saying that I am typically a very understanding and easy to please person and I’ve never in my life left a one star review but this needs to be said.
I lived here for two years when they got bought several month ago and it’s been terrible ever since. They are routinely 4+ months behind on maintenance request. Even emergency maintenance requests - including the two months in the winter where I didn’t have hot water and the 2+ weeks in the summer when I didn’t have... air-conditioning (my apartment my 97 deg). Non-urgent request will never get done - including my closet rack that literally fell off of the wall over 4 months ago. When you try to get in contact with them, they never answer the phone. I’ve called at least 15 times over several months and leave voicemails asking for a return call and have never gotten a call back even one time. When you go to the office, they say that they’ll print the request and give it to maintenance staff, but that doesn’t change anything. At this point, I realize it’s gonna be a minute until they can fix anything and just want some kind of idea on when things might be fixed (so I can plan to accommodate for their incompetence) but they won’t give you any kind of timeline/expectation or they act like they’ll get back to you and, once again, never do. Most recently they sent an email asking us to not come into the office anymore about maintenance issues, but they never answer their phone or email so they’re basically just trying to block you out. My wife and I have been living here for close to 3 years and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The only thing it has going for them is the location. Its great to have Grandview and UA right there outside of that I wouldn't move here.

The staff has zero urgency on work orders. I have 5 work orders open and have not been fixed. I could go on for paragraphs of what has been wrong and or needs repaired all the way from not having heat when it is 5 degrees outside for 3 weeks, No AC in the... summer time for close to 2 months and multiple wasps nest inside my home.

My wife and I thought the old staff was bad, we were mistaken. The old staff was much ore understanding and diligent when it came to work orders.

On top of that our 2nd pool is green and has been out of service all summer...

I would not recommend moving to this complex to anyone, because it is no longer cheap and affordable in a good location. It is now poorly maintained and expensive. Read More

Lived here for 2 years and they switched management during my final lease. Maintenance requests were unresolved for 6+ months including water spots all over our ceiling. Calling the office does 0 things because they don’t know how to answer their phones. You can call 15 times a day with no answer and then walk into the office to see the staff sitting there. Finally was able to walk around the community and find a maintenance worker, get them to my apt, and still get nothing completed because... they never came back. Finally moved out and received a phone call a month and half later asking if I still needed to have maintenance to come look at the water spots and leaks in the ceiling…only for me to tell them I have moved out and received my security deposit back. Cannot say enough bad things about the management here. Moved in without all our appliances, took almost two weeks to get them installed, with NO compensation for their massive insane mistake.
Charges late fees on the last day of the month and takes forever to reverse them so you can pay rent.
Maintenance requests never get done.
The list goes on and on. Horribly managed and they do not care about you whatsoever.

Do not live here. I've gone three weeks with no A/C during a severe heat advisory, and there is absolutely no accountability from maintenance or the leasing office. Maintenance provides zero updates, marks work orders as "completed" without fixing anything, and is unreachable because all communication is routed through a leasing office that never answers the phone. We've called 20+ times, left messages, and never received a single response. Visiting the office made it clear why--phones ring... nonstop with no protocol for answering them. We now have three open A/C requests because the first two were falsely marked as resolved, pushing us to the bottom of the queue each time.
