Living at South Grove Apartments was one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve had. Evelio, the super at the time, was constantly in everyone’s business instead of actually addressing the issues in the building. Privacy felt nonexistent, and instead of being helpful, he often made living there more stressful.
On top of that, the apartments themselves are severely overpriced for what you actually get. The management company was unprofessional, unresponsive, and did not seem to care... about tenants’ concerns. For the amount they charge, you’d expect much better upkeep and service, but instead, the value simply isn’t there.
I would not recommend South Grove Apartments to anyone—between the intrusive super and the management’s lack of professionalism, it’s just not worth it.
