I lived here for 3 years. I had great neighbors and a warm relationship with all the building staff. Living in NYC can be hectic, but our apartment was a small refuge. Having our own washer/dryer and balcony made a huge difference in our quality of life. Sunset on the roof deck and the gym downstairs made our home feel more spacious than the ~500 Sq. feet of our unit. A quick walk to the A/1 trains. The building overlooks historic Highbridge Park across the street. Morris Jumel Mansion down... Edgcombe was a favorite neighborhood walk of ours.

Disruptive Residents
The facade of this building appears to be a luxury boutique. The super is great and the doormen crew is very nice. They will notify you when packages and deliveries are made. However they are NOT 24/7, and the building has been subject to common occurrences of package theft. There is currently a wanted person sign on the building entrance for someone who has removed packages off the residence. The building is also pet friendly, so if you are allergic it may not be for you. After living here for... some time, I’ve come across SEVERAL police, EMS, fire dept cases who come into the building because of issues in this apartment. It is not publicly noted when you are signing your lease or purchasing a unit, but this building offers community housing options for individuals with disabilities. One resident in that community housing group in this building will often smoke weed and the lobby and elevator will retain that lingering odor. Another resident will be heard causing noise disruptions during all hours of the day. Banging on windows, doors, elevators are also a regular behavior. They do not pose an immediate threat to the community, but it can be disruptive for some residents since the noise travels across the entire building. Great location in this neighborhood otherwise.
