The building is wellmaintained, and the management team is usually responsive and helpful when it comes to maintenance requests. The apartment itself is spacious with a modern layout, and I especially appreciate the natural lighting and updated appliances. The neighbors are mostly friendly, and the community feels safe and quiet, which is important to me. The only downside is occasional noise from the hallway or nearby units, and parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time of day.... Still, the location is super convenient close to grocery stores and public transportation.
I’m giving it 4 stars because there’s always room for improvement, but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid, comfortable home.

The location is incredibly convenient—whether you’re connected to one of Buffalo’s colleges or just want to live near downtown and the west side. The units offer great space, and the amenities are a real highlight: the gym, bowling alley, and study areas make it feel like more than just an apartment. It’s not just student housing—it’s a flexible, well-equipped space that works for different lifestyles. There are a few minor things that could be improved, but overall, the location, features, and... sense of community make Monarch?716 a solid choice.

Monarch 716 looks great on the outside the apartments are modern, and the amenities like the gym, pool, and shuttle to campus are really convenient. But living there wasn’t perfect. Maintenance was slow, the hallways weren’t always clean, and noise from neighbors was a regular issue. I had problems with package theft and mold,

I could’ve had a better overall experience living at Monarch 716. While the location is convenient for students, the management and maintenance leave a lot to be desired. Communication is often slow or unhelpful, and maintenance requests can take weeks to be addressed—if they’re addressed at all. Noise can be a serious issue, and cleanliness in common areas is inconsistent. The apartment itself had potential, but poor upkeep and lack of accountability from the leasing office really took away... from the experience. If you’re in a tight spot and have no other options, it’ll do—but I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s your last resort. For the price, you’d expect better service and overall quality. Definitely do your research before signing a lease here. You might find something better for your money elsewhere.

Very peaceful, everyone is friendly, and i loveee the private gym. Very good for beginner renters get in the groove of living by yourself and the bowling alley is very convenient.
