I loved living at Sequoia Meadows at first, but since NEW management took over, it has become unsafe, HAZARDOUS and a health risk.
Two weeks ago, I discovered MOLD in my closet in the living room from a roof leak. The leak was fixed, but the MOLD remains and is spreading, leaving me in a hazardous environment. A vendor confirmed the MOLD, yet management is delaying action... with a “second opinion” instead of transferring me to a safe, MOLD-free unit. Seems easy enough right?.. you’d think.
The MOLD is so dense it has SEEPED THROUGH THE FLOORING INTO MY DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBORS.
The negligence of staff and management is baffling and honestly disgusting. They do not care about their tenants. What so ever. Even in hazardous situations
No one should live with CONFIRMED MOLD EXPOSURE while management delays and avoids responsibility. What once felt like home now feels unsafe, and this situation has been completely mishandled.

Great size, crappy pipes.
Management just changed so I'm not going to review the office staff or maintenance since I can't judge the new ones. I'll only judge the property itself.
Pros - -These have huge usable kitchens. Having 2 people cooking is not a problem at all. There is lots of counter space for small appliances and storage. -The master suite is really big too. I have bedroom and office furniture in mine no problem. -There is in-unit laundry. -All the assigned parking spaces are close to their units. -Almost... all the square footage is usable space. -New mailboxes. -Ample parking, I haven't had any problem with guest parking or the second car. - Walking distance to like 50 great restaurants.
Cons - -The water lines feeding the complex are garbage. I suspect the people who initially put them in got cheap and didn't trench very deep so the weight of cars passing over them keeps breaking them. This means they have to shut off the water to repair a break every few weeks. Which causes repeated depressurizing and repressurizing weakening the pipes even more. -The area does have some crime and homeless people, and the complex isn't gated. We've had folks try our door, the old mailboxes were broken into regularly, someone went through my car the night I left it unlocked. -A lot of the upstairs units have had their carpet replaced with hard floors, causing more noise for downstairs units. -The second bedroom is much smaller than the primary, so its a bit unbalanced for roommate situations.
There are much nicer apartments in this city for a lot more money, but this has been a decent place for me to live for the price.

Front office
The chaos of the front office is a perfect representation of the rest of the property. If you want to be shouted out for asking when the water that has been shut off property wide without notice will be turned back on, this is the place for you.
If you want to be called a liar when you present a notification from USPS that says the office received a package from USPS for you, You will love it here.
If you love not knowing if there will be running water when you wake up, sign up today
Looking... for dumpsters full and overflowing into the parking lot with old carpet padding and broken furniture from the clearing out of evicted apartments? SM is the place
Want covered parking that is regularly blocked by the roofers, HVAC, and maintenance? Stop in for a visit.
The units and property have so much potential, but the front office and property management company are just awful.

Returning Tenant
I lived here for 3 years...I moved out March 3 2018 because I got married...I do not like my current apt complex...I am going back to Sequoia Meadows. The management team is amazing, Nicole and Jan delivery excellent customer service. Anything that needs to be fixed is done in a timely manner. The grounds are always clean. A great maintenance team...if you are in need of a place to call home, don't hesitate to give them a call.

Our community is growing into a renovation, new apartments, future gym and had swimming pools plus a picnic area to sit and barbeque.
