I moved out of The Monroe one year ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst living experiences ever. The weekend I moved in was AWFUL: Everything was broken. By everything I mean: My closet collapsed on itself, the refrigerator broke, a door broke, the washer wouldn’t work, and my shower head wouldn’t work. I called the maintenance line for help (it was Saturday when I moved in) and the girl told me, and I quote, “Just let the bath water run and splash some on yourself until Monday.... We’ll try and get someone out to you but no promises since none of this is an emergency.” The trash areas and stairwells aren’t well-maintained. There are bugs and horrible smells. The apartment I toured was on a totally different side than the one I got. They put me on the side of the building next to the parking garage so I had zero natural light. The only good things are the location and the rooftop deck is cool to hang out on. But for the price, I say absolutely do not rent here!!!

Terrible Management
Management is awful. They don't know how to run a property, are short tempered, yell at their residents, and gaslight residents who come to them with maintenance needs. Basic questions are met with hostility and snide remarks. Very disappointing. The Monroe is pretty on the outside, ugly on the inside. Watch out.

The Monroe is a beautiful apartment building tucked in a wonderful location that's within short walking distance to central downtown Morristown. The apartment is very spacious, modern, and a great value.

Amazing Place to Live!
I've lived here for over 3 years and I can't speak highly enough of the apartment complex! Peter and the team in the leasing office are amazing to work with. They plan events for the residents, and they are always available if you need something. The Maintenance staff are so nice, helpful, and prompt. They get the job done the first time and are super respectful of your property. Lastly, the apartment is in prime location to the downtown area of Morristown in walking distance to all of the... restaurants, bars, and shops. The apartments are beautiful. I wouldn't want to live anyone else in Morristown!
