Highly recommend this place! Great location, next to rail and restaurant, highway’s 10 minutes away - yet still a notable sense of quiet. Very safe feeling as well, one way in one way out. The community landscape is tended wonderfully, truly a visually pleasing area compared to other communities. People do clean up after their pets, of which there are countless. The new maintenance guy is great! Danny is super thorough, responsive, and most of all satisfactory. He will treat your unit like it is... his own home. Shamco definitely found the right person for the job. Trash removal contract does need a tune up, overflow is currently too frequent. Believe they have two 20 yarders for trash and maybe one 10-15 yarder for recycling? Either way, they could use one 40 yard roll off and one 10 yard overflow for trash, and just a 20 yard for recycling. Glass overflow gets a little dangerous.

Renter Beware
“Renter Beware” If you are thinking about spending your hard-earned money, please think long and hard before renting in Morris Crossing in Morristown, NJ. The on-site property management, as well as corporate policies are deplorably ineffectual. Should you decide to move here, the following is what you will have to endure on a daily basis: Constant overwhelming trash pileup. Shamco refuses to pay for larger dumpsters or pay for Morris Crossing to pick up twice a week. So, trash piles up with... rodents feasting on it. Dog waste which is littered all over the community because Shamco simply does not enforce the rules. If you have a Doggie – no doubt you will step in someone else’s dog waste – on a daily basis. Mice/rodent Infestation which has been ongoing because Shamco does ABSOLUTELY nothing to clean up the trash and dog waste. The inevitable result is that the vermin have now found their way into the dwellings. Several people have moved out because of the rodents that seem to be overwhelming the community. Poor illumination at night because Shamco refuses to install proper lighting to make the community safe. While vacant apartments have all lights burning all day and night, there is no clear exterior illumination for the tenants who find themselves outdoors at night. Shamco refuses to install cameras on the property. Subsequently, there is no way to identify the perpetrators of rampant illegal dumping or those tenants (and non residents) who do not pick up their dog waste. So these problems remain unresolved, and needless to say, the safety of residents is continually at risk. Shamco does not hire professional plumbers or maintenance people; their solution to tenants with any kind of issue is to just have an unqualified handyman do the work, resulting in improper repairs. Ignoring issues. If providing tenant support requires Shamco to spend money, quite often they will just ignore the tenants' issues. Shamco will raise your rent, but there is no resultant proper management or maintenance for the neighborhood. It is not cheap to live here, but don't expect that your rent to provide for proper and timely maintenance and management of this community. And if you would like a Flat Tire or a Sprained Ankle just walk through the Parking Lot. They advertise themselves as a luxury community but that is an empty promise. If you move here, do not expect value for your money, safety, proper management or care. Shame on Shamco!

Love the neighborhood
I have lived here for 1 1/2 years and I love it here. Maintenance responds quickly and everyone is very nice. The apartments inside are very nice. The outside of the buildings could use some cleaning (power washing) to make them look more inviting. But on the whole it is a very quaint neighborhood.

Looks are indeed deceiving
The apartments themselves are great. Maintenance is always responsive and helpful, amenities like the gym and proximity to downtown are perfect. Unfortunately, the walls/ceilings are incredibly thin. You can hear every little thing from all sides and if your neighbors aren't so neighborly, tough luck.
I wish I could give a better review, but the noise makes it tough to live peacefully.

I loved living here !
I lived here for 2 years and it was a great experience. The apartments are well maintained and maintenance always responded quickly. The property manager, Maria knows this place very well, is very responsive and takes care of it like it was her own. She knows all the tenants and goes above and beyond to meet everyone's needs. Love the location because it's tucked away for quite living but close enough to highways, shopping and the train station.
