I'll leave one star because the people are really amazing. We've been here several years and the guys at the front desk, building maintenance, etc are wonderful and really do their best. Bt the actual building is a nightmare. Persistent elevator problems, water shortages and outages that go beyond neighboring properties. I just don't think it was built well. No new building should have this many problems. Maybe consider at a massive discount if you're willing to deal with consistent... problems.

Great Location
Great location thats steps away from everything you need like the supermarket, Path , & Mall. I deal for commuters, Large apartment and building has plenty of amenities with friendly staff, would highly recommend!

The lobby of this building stinks ALL the time in the mornings. It stinks of all the trash that gets emptied each day and its unbearable

Stinks
It Literally Stinks. Like most of the newer high rise buildings in Manhattan, this building is poorly designed to draw air from individual apartments and flow through out the building and into the apartments. This Air is forced out of the electrical sockets, under the baseboards, etc. For example, if you’re apartment door is left ajar you will feel the air from the hallway forced through your front door.
When I first moved in back in February, it was cigarette smoke that was flowing from... someone’s apartment into my daughters bedroom. Having dealt with this in the past, I knew better than to expect management to care. The smoke free lease rider is simply a formality as it is not enforceable. If building managers actually evicted you for smoking in your apartment, everyone would have a lease break free card. So they can’t Actually stop any tenants from smoking in their Apartment. Which makes the airflow design in these buildings even worse because you will be negatively impacted health wise by your neighbors and management is poorly incentivized to stop it.
We were able to reduce the smoke smell by caulking under the baseboards and taping up the electrical outlet for her PTECH unit since that was the major source of the Smokey air. We got a Dyson air purifier that heats and cools for her bedroom since we were not able to use the PTECH due to the fact that we could not leave it plugged in without having second hand smoke freely flow in her room. Between this, never closing her bedroom door and leaving the windows open all day to air out the room, this was a temporary solution we could like with.
Fast forward to about a month ago, and now the smell that was filling that side of my apartment is now the smell of the trash room next door through the laundry closet. Management is unable and unwilling to fix the issue so lease at your own risk especially if the apartment is next to the trash room. You’re welcome.

The LAZ parking is managing the parking!
The parking is by LAS parking and the process is awful. LAZ parking is not responsible for different issues, not returning calls, not answering emails and the building management says is the 3rd party and we have no control. If I knew that parking is a mess at The one apartment, I never ever would have moved here!
