6 year tenant
I lived here for 6 years and never had an issue of any type. My work relocated me to another state and hope I find a complex that equals this one.

Just started a lease at Lilac Garden and was very impressed with the process and property. From the initial inquiry, application, tours and lease everything was very straightforward and if there was any questions or issues the leasing office was quick to give an answer.
After signing our lease, we had a welcome meeting where we went over information about our apartment, complex, and Dover. We even got a very thoughtful welcome package. I really appreciated the effort to make sure we had all the... information we needed. A very positive experience compared to other past rental experiences.
The property looks to be equally hassle free as the leasing process, so far it has been quiet, clean, and well maintained.

Been here for a year, I never worry about safety even living on the first floor. Great communication from the office and the best part of living here is by far the maintenance team! They are so responsive and thorough with even the smallest request. I didn’t know how good it was to have that kind of service until receiving it while living here! Best move I’ve made so far!

My husband and I started renting at Lilac Gardens back in 2019/2020. The apartment we rented was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the second floor. The build we rented from didn't have an elevator so bringing our stuff up the stairs was a little rough since the stair well is a little narrow. The apartment we rented also didn't have an in unit washer and dryer but they did have one for the floor and also a whole laundry room next to the mail room by the main office.
When we order packages we do had to do... a little search party sometimes depending if the distributer(UPS, FedEx, Other) places our item in the mail room(which has boxes label for each building 1-12) or in the foyer for the buildings main entrance.
The complex is quiet and during nice weather makes for some great little walks. Since we were on the second floor we had a porch which I loved, we put some lights up and had a small table an chair set out. The wooden porch never gave us splinters and my cats did enjoy some supervised time outside. The pet fee is a very reasonable price, and rent went up by $50-100 each year that we renewed the leash which I believe to be very reasonable.
Maintenance was a small amount of trouble when we first moved in due to the last renter being at the apartment for a long time(8 years) so there was a lot that needed to be updated. We were give a day when the apartment would be ready to move in so we went late morning/early afternoon to check it out(since the first time we viewed it, it was being worked on; no appliances, counter tops, carpet, being painted). Well doing our move in look around we ended up having to call the office due to a few things around the apartment missing(door knobs to closets, fridge handle, screen in a few windows and tools left on floor). After a few hours the small things where taken care of but the screens did take a few weeks due to needing to order them. When maintenance does come into the apartment to check the water meter or yearly wellness checks they are quick, quiet, and respectful. When things do need to be fixed in the apartment it is scheduled for a day but not a time(due to possible emergencies), which means they could come at any time during normal office hours.
Over all living at Lilac Gardens was a great experience!

During my time looking for my first apartment, it has been very difficult to find consistency and helpful information. When inquiring and communicating questions I had about renting I was met with kindness and a very receptive helping hand. Nicole in the leasing department was extremely informative throughout the whole process. While we went to tour the apartment there were a handful of opened units so we were given the option to tour multiple units which was great because it gave us the time to... learn more about living within this complex and feel comfortable in the decision making. Highly recommend reaching out and asking questions if you're curious about renting here!
