Extremely disappointing experience with management. Less than half a day after taking possession of the unit, we experienced a plumbing/sewer backup. Management later added a $400 charge to our account claiming the issue was caused by “flushing 20+ Clorox wipes down drain,” despite the fact that neither I nor anyone in my household flushed wipes or similar products. It is extremely frustrating to move into a property, encounter a significant plumbing issue within hours, could not use water for... almost 24 hours, couldn’t get ahold of their 24/7 maintenance until the next day, and then be presented with a substantial bill based on an allegation we strongly dispute. After conferring with other residents, it appears other issues such as unfinished drywall/repair work, basement water and drainage concerns, and utilities or household systems that were not functioning properly. Based on how this situation has been handled, I cannot recommend this property management company.
