I have lived here at corby for only a year, the management was changed 3 times, my smoke detector didn’t work, there were fist sized holes in our walls and the carpet hadn’t been cleaned or changed in years, the apartment management was very rude, someone broke into our apartment and management wouldn’t even change our locks, I had to wait a month to get a garage, there were Asian beetles and carpenter ants in our home that weren’t taken care of, washing machine never worked, there was no... parking ever, marijuana smell was always in the halls, the management will show your apartment many times before you move out and sometimes without a 24 hour notice, there are always fights in the hallways, thins walls so you hear it all, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! This place is horrible, nasty ,dirty. The turn over on management is unreal, as is the maintenance.the up keep of building is nonexistent, carpets in hallways are filthy. The city has been on the property numerous time for code violations I didn't find out till a man walked up behind me and asked if I could open door , he showed a ID, and he told me there were problems throughout building. I have lived in Corby Castle for some years now and this current management team is by far the best. I really appreciate the hard work they do in keeping the outside clean; halls and laundry rooms. Parking lot is mostly full but they h offer garages at an affordable price.

I lived in this complex for a year. At times the marijuana smell was so overwhelming I swear I got high walking down the halls. The halls are always filthy as are the grounds. The dumpster is tiny and garbage is always overflowing. I have seen 4 apartment managers come and go over the course of a year. The guy who fixed my heater is some random dude who knows the owner. I didn't trust that he was certified. I have had bug issues and then learned that someone had been in my apartment... spraying for them. I called to complain that I was not notified and they just said we left a note on your door. They did not. Sometimes there is an order so bad at night I think someone might be cooking Meth.

People constantly prop open the secure doors, or the locks are broken. Washers and dryers never seem to work and money is never refunded. My appliances are from the 70's and my counter tops were painted rather than replaced. They are hideous. I am sure I will have a fight on my hands to get my deposit refunded. Think twice about renting @ Corby Castle. Management is extremely poor - in the one year, there have been 3 different managers. They all seem to have their own set of rules..... nobody seems to be able to really manage this complex. Don't even try to get a straight answer from anyone...it isn't going to happen. If you have an issue, it won't get resolved easily and passing the buck seems to be par for the course. Parking is a challenge and upkeep of the complex is poor.
