This place is horrible, between the property owner, maintenance, and the front office it’s all HELL. The girls in the front office call their residents psycho and dramatic, when they request maintenance for pest control or a leak/flood in the ceiling. They take at least a week before maintenance gets to the problem. They don’t care about the property, don’t clean up garbage laying around the grounds, takes days to actually clear the sidewalks after it snows, you can see squirrels climbing into... the roofs of the buildings across from you. Shingles are constantly falling off the roof and laying on the ground for weeks at a time. The washer and dryers are horrible, you have to put one load through the dryer like 4 times before it’s actually dry, doing 4 loads will cost you about $20 when it’s all said and done, or the machines just eat your money. They don’t offer a refund or a discount on rent or anything for any trouble or inconvenience on their part. The cops are constantly around the property either arresting people or pulling someone over. The Royal Oaks has been one of the best places I have ever lived at. The staff has been very helpful in any of our needs. As breakdowns do happen I have never had to wait more than the next morning to fix the problem. Usually that day they are there assessing and fixing it. Neighbors are more respectful and quiet than many places I have lived. To me the most negative thing I have had to deal with is there is only 2 washers and 2 dryers available in my building but are reasonably priced. worst place ever. worst management, they are so lazy. if you tell them something is wrong it will take forever to get fixed. And when the time comes they will charge you for every single thing. they will even charge for the things you can't even imagine.
Parking is also a big problem here, if you come late at night you have to park in the visitor parking.
the owner of complex is really rude just like the girls working in management.

my friend already lived in these apartments so I already knew that I liked them. They are afforible and when she needs mantince the guys are there same day and there is nothing better than that. although my aunt used to live there and there was a leak in the roof in one of the buildings but hope they can fix that. Also it took a little bit because you have to have one years worth of work and two of my jobs where being hard so mine took a little bit to get but other than that the lady in the... office was great and worked well with helping me.
