I love living at Amberleigh South. The complex is in a great location to provide access to shopping, the beaches, and downtown Wilmington. In the complex, itself, there is a great gym and a coffee bar. There is a wonderful pool that is kept pristinely clean and is surrounded by cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs. By the pool, and also at several locations in the complex, there are top notch gas grills provided for community use. These are also kept clean.
The landscaping is beautiful and... just walking underneath the shady trees on the broad sidewalks is a pleasure. An additional attraction is the hammock park that is lit for those who enjoy lounging about under the stars and catching the cool evening breeze.
It is so carefree to order items to be delivered here. The complex uses Luxor and out packages are completely safe until we pick them up. There is even refrigerated storage so we can order meal kits without any worry at all.
The dog park and dog washing room are great for those who own dogs. The people who live here are friendly and respectful of others, and, either I have the quietest neighbors ever or the apartments are well built for controlling sound, because I never hear my neighbors from my apartment, not even the apartment directly above me.
The best part about living here, though, is the management and staff. They are professional, responsive and supportive of their tenants and clearly take pride in their jobs.
I am very happy here.

I couldn’t be happier with the Community Management Team! It’s clear that they genuinely care about the residents, and always go above and beyond.
The apartments and amenities are very well maintained and taken care of. You can definitely note that the community was built well above average standards for multifamily construction; while this is apartment living, there is definitely noise reduction between floors and walls which is really enjoyable.
