Disappointing since Grey Star took over
I wish I could give this place zero stars. The management team is absolutely terrible. They are not only unhelpful but also rude and condescending, making residents feel unwelcome in what should be a community. The common areas are poorly maintained, which is frustrating to see when you pay good money to live here. It's disappointing to feel ignored and disrespected by the very people who are supposed to support us. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a pleasant living... experience. Save yourself the headache!

We would love to have you stop by the office to talk about our current and ongoing renovation projects, in addition to addressing your specific concerns. When we took over in August, the building... was in need of some refreshing, which is what we have been working on since takeover. So far, we have replaced the pool heater, secured a year-round pool permit, worked with the parking garage company to get the gate arms up and working, repaired the fire pit, started a complete renovation project (currently happening!) on all of our amenities and will soon be replacing the flooring and painting the resident corridors. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback and we hope to see you in the office soon!

Stay Away for the Short-Term or Hope for Change for the Long-Term
I have lived here for several years with several building management teams. I would currently recommend not living at SkyHouse.
SkyHouse is best known for its views and its safety. However, it no longer the same luxury standards set by previous building managements. This appears to be in-large part as Greystar changes the strategy held by previous managements.
The management team has struggled with their communication of severe maintenance issues (including the commonly known elevator woes) --... which do not appear to be close to being resolved despite it being a several month issue. The management team also appears to be struggling with the frustration expressed by current residents, incredibly protective rather than being conversational about issues.
It is one thing to be upset, it is another to not be hospitable.
Greystar has also begun to focus on catering to shorter-term stays -- including allowing AirBnb hosting and a new feature of a "guest stay."
The building is forgo-ing cleaning carpets on floors in pursuit of new non-carpeted flooring and is making changes to the clubroom area that will impact quality of life. The building feels stripped of the qualities that made it a great place to stay, in-lieu for a cheapened approached intent on generating money.
It is evident that Greystar has a vision however that vision does not look out for current residents or residents in the short-term.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and share your concerns! I want to share that the elevator repairs have been completed and are currently being tested for safety. We want to make sure that everything here is safe and ready for... resident use, so rather than rush the repair for a quick fix, we prefer a long-term sustainable option for safety and longevity. I know the downtime has been frustrating, but we do appreciate your patience. I apologize that you feel the scope of our current renovation project does not fit your current lifestyle -- we are replacing the flooring in the hallways to make the building cleaner and more appealing. The furniture replacement in the clubroom and new coffee machine will only enhance the space and certainly not take away from it. I do also want to touch on the AirBnB rentals that you mentioned. We only are allowed a certain percentage per number of units on site, and all renters are vetted and screened the same way that residents are. There truly is no difference in status between those that live here and the few times a year that someone would stay here short term. It also allows a great option for someone to use their apartment as a rental platform should they need to break their lease early. I hope these answers clear up some confusion for you, and should you want to stop by the office to discuss more, we are happy to chat@
