Horrible DONT DO IT
This place is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. They have so many rules you almost feel like your being babysat. Cant have "visitors" after 10pm unless they park in a designated area for visitors which is at the leasing office and the spots are ALWAYS full so having company is a no unless you want to pay a boot/ tow fee. Floors are so thin you can hear a piece of paper drop. These apartments are beautiful but not worth the headache dealing with rude staff and loud neighbors. My lease is... up soon and I will not be renewing. Not to mention the additional fees on top of the already expensive rent. Water, trash, mailbox, and so on. Add $150 to what they quote you for rent.

Enjoying living @ Hawthorne @ the Glen
Me and my family moved into Hawthorne @ the Glen from Georgia about 4 months ago, the staff made the transition simple and pleasing, due to it being a quick move for my husband job. If any issue should arise the staff is on it, and get it resolved in a timely manner, me and my family really enjoy the amenities that are on site, as well our dog Ace, he enjoy's the doggie park. I have no complaints about Hawthorne @ the Glen..

It's a little overpriced, but not horrible
The community is alright as a whole. Maintenance is extremely nice and very prompt. The Luxor lockers for packages are great. Amenities on the premises are pretty nice. The value of the apartments seem to be very different pending on where you live in the complex. If you live in the front half, you have close access to amenities. These were the first buildings constructed, and they were constructed well. If you live in the 6600, 6700, or 6800 buildings, you get lower quality that was hastily... completed to fill more units. You'll also notice difference in the grounds pending on which side of the complex you are on. Near the clubhouse, garbages are plentiful. on the back side, there is only one garbage, and you have to go down to the terrace to get to it. Trash and recycling only has one location, which is in the front. The 6600 and 6700 buildings have an extra floor on them, however there are fewer parking spots near those buildings than in other areas. If you live in 6700 or 6800, be prepared to walk across the whole complex, and also be prepared for cars to.randomly be plopped along the curbs, making it hard to see other traffic. There have recently been other security issues, like car break-ins, so a long walk at night can be dangerous.
