While this apartment complex is within walking distance from campus, that is about where the benefits stop.
While cheaper than most places in town, the actual living spaces are incredibly small, and almost nothing works well in the building for long.
There is almost always something broken, either in your unit, or in the complex as a whole. I've had my AC break twice, the lock to my door started going out, the south elevator has broken down numerous times, the front door system is constantly... going down, it took literal months for them to fix the leg press machine in the fitness area after that broke down, and I can think of at least a couple times this past year where the fire alarm would just go off randomly(and not during a scheduled test).
Combine that with the fact that they will start pressuring you to resign your lease by October, despite most people having only just moved in during late August, with a subtle underlying threat of selling it out from under you.
You will also find that their after hours emergency line is a joke, and good luck getting them to listen to any noise complaints that you make when your downstairs neighbor is quite literally playing their music so loud that your entire room shakes at 11:00 PM.
Don't waste your money here, spend a little extra and go somewhere that'll at least pretend to care about you.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Matthew. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience has not met expectations. With a building this large, there are unfortunately times when things break, but we do our best to fix everything in a timely... manner and minimize disruptions for our residents. We understand how maintenance delays, early renewal timelines, and ongoing noise issues can be frustrating, and we take your concerns seriously. If you're open to it, we’d appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience and work toward a resolution. Please feel free to reach out to our office at any time.

Better than Student Dorms Atleast
----Pros: In-unit washer/dryer. Leasing office is very responsive. Location is very close to downtown so bars are at most a 10 minute walk, campus is around a 5 minute walk and many restaurants are under 15 minutes of walking. The place is next to a small park with tennis court and walking path. There is a garage and multiple exits from the building.
----Cons: Doors are non-existent when it comes to sound dampening. I can hear roommates shuffle their feet in the common area, and it's as if the... door wasn't there in the first place. This means there is no auditory privacy so all conversations and whatnot can be heard by anyone in the unit. I turned my phone to the lowest/quietest audio setting in the bedroom and I could still hear the video being played from outside the room. The given desk is atrociously bad and the provided chair offers no lumbar support, does not lock into place (meaning you will always be able to lean back on it, bad for posture) and has no backrest swivel function (when leaning back the seat also leans back). There's no room to store the provided desk and chair if you want to replace them so you're almost forced to buy a storage unit. The park next to the building is nice but during the summer season yells can be heard throughout the day and sometimes into the night. The bedroom unit window is a bit small and does not offer much sunlight. The in-building storage units and garage applications take MONTHS to process as they are both popular and fill up quickly. Repair orders take almost a week to fill as there are too many things broken in each unit and not many repair technicians for the building.
----Conclusion: These apartment units are overpriced and as someone who values privacy and peace and quiet, not somewhere I would live again.

Hi John, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad you found the location convenient and appreciated the in-unit washer/dryer. We understand your concerns about noise and soundproofing and will continue to look for ways to improve the... experience for our residents. While we don’t provide furniture storage on-site, residents are welcome to make their own arrangements as long as furniture is returned before move-out. Storage units are available for rent, though they can fill up quickly. We understand your concerns about the amount of natural light and the quality of the provided desk and chair, although these specific issues haven’t been raised to us before. The nearby park can be lively during the summer, and we’ll continue to do our best to maintain a positive living environment. Thanks again for your feedback, we wish you the best moving forward.
