We moved to Grand at Pearl about a year ago. The process was easy, but there were some things that needed to be fixed in our apartment (at the time of move-in). Those things weren’t fixed (minor problems like re-caulking, etc), but I can say, any other problems we’ve have had, they’ve fixed. Our mailbox didn’t lock correctly. I put in a work order and it was fixed right away. I got my dryer delivered from Lowes and the guy from Lowes told me to call maintenance because a piece was missing (that... was supposed to be provided by the complex), and maintenance ended up installing my dryer. I do hate that the communication is sometimes short notice. Otherwise, you get used to it. My neighbors and I mind our businesses and it works for us. It’s not perfect, but it’s great for the price! There’s nowhere you can find such a spacious three bedroom apartment for the price we pay (in a somewhat safe neighborhood).

This Property is Poorly Managed
I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. I value communication and Grand At Pearl fails to communicate with everything. They don't respond to phone, email, nor service request. It's honestly a good location to live, but it is poorly managed. I've had several complaints to Ms. Gwendolyn, but she doesn't seem to value her residents. At least not us from our experiences.

Nice place to stay.
Been here for 3+ years. Never have any issues. Maintenance is friendly always wave when they see people. The two young ladies in the office are sweet and friendly. Greet you with a smile. Didn’t know we had a new property manager??. But love it here!

Kinda Sucks
I've never lived in a more cockroach prone apartment. I hate it. Seriously I do everything I can to keep them away. I dont leave good out, I put out glue traps, I keep the house clean. Nothing works, they're all over the cabinets in the kitchen. Neighbors are inconsiderate by playing bass shaking music anytime day or night they feel like it. Landscaping starts at 7am right outside your window so hopefully you dont work a nights job. Trying to get actual maintenance done is based on persistence... since they'll sometimes close your work ticket without looking at anything. At least this place gives you perspective and reminds you why you'd rather live in a house.
