This apartment may seem great from the outside but don't be fooled. I've lived here 2 years. The first year was okay...but then they changed management. They had no maintenance person for 6 months and never informed us. Instead, maintenance requests went unanswered and ignored. When a maintenance person was finally hired, he came unprepared and was not provided with the tools he needed to do basic jobs. He said "they handed me a stack of requests from the past 6 months and said 'do what you... can'". We even provided him tools and screws just so he could fix things! Now they are keeping the pool closed for the ENTIRE summer, with no plans to even try and open. Their reasoning being "we can’t find someone to maintain the pool"....seems like a common theme. Yet they have continued to advertise the pool and other unusable amenities to bring customers in. There are even still signs up saying the pool will reopen, so any perspective customer or current resident has been mislead if not specifically asking. There is not much to do here over the summer outside of work and we rely on these amenities to be available for use. Beyond these blatant concerns, the internet is terrible, making it very difficult for students to get basic assignments done online. The parking is super tight and me and my roommates have all been side swiped in the parking lot. The walls are thin, so be prepared to hear your roommates and neighbors. Additionally, I have friends that live here who have had roach problems for months, even though management and maintenance have been informed many times, still nothing is done. I know someone who has not had a dishwasher for months and another who hasn't had a working dryer for over a year! They prey on college students who are too busy and overwhelmed to keep fighting them, and even if you try, they just brush you off. BEWARE of what you are signing. They will put everything back on you and tell you it is a "privilege" to even have these amenities "per your lease agreement". Do you really want to live at an apartment that only cares about the contract you signed and not the person signing it? They do not care for you and will try to get away with as much as they can. These apartments look super pretty when you first move in but unless you plan on never being home/ quite literally only sleeping there they are poorly built. All the furniture is cheap and will break if you have any weight to you plus they won't come and fix anything at all. There is also zero soundproofing so you can hear everyone outside their apartments. Please Do not be fooled by the appearance this is the worst apartment I have lived at.

My apartment had bugs/ roaches in the kitchen for 3 months. After repeatedly going in to complain, the bugs still continued to be an issue. Also had issues with our dishwasher multiple times and were unable to use it for a couple months due to no one coming to fix it. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Don’t let the appearance of these apartments fool you! My daughter lived in the Annex for two years, worst experience we have ever had! For starters someone broke into her apartment before she even moved in and trashed the place. How management wasn’t aware of this still have no idea to this day, speaking of management extremely unprofessional and could care less about any issues you bring to their attention. Also her apartment flooded two times during her stay, black mold was growing even after... several complaints were made and it took weeks before anything was fixed/replaced. When moving out management won’t do a walk through, so be super careful they will stick you with a large bill in the end even if you’re in a four roomed apartment. I could go on and on about all the problems she encountered so giving 1 star is being extremely generous when they don’t deserve any!!! I lived here for two years while I was a student. The first year was rocky with management but all of that changed when Granite Student Living took charge. The management is super nice and they listen and respond to you in a timely manner.

It is pretty expensive but there is a lot of perks to living at Annex like the convenience of how close it is to campus and the complex amenities.

I was never overly amazed by Annex but it did the job and was exactly what I needed. No complaints!
