“The 505 Apartments: Where ‘luxury living’ apparently includes hallway homicides, zero consequences, and management that celebrates cutting security right after someone gets murdered outside your kid’s door.
Less than one month after a resident buzzed a armed person into the building, that person shot a man to death literally feet from my daughter’s apartment (bullets ripping through floors while residents hid), the 505 proudly announced they’re eliminating the 24/7 door staff—the ONLY real... security upgrade they made after the killing.
Meanwhile, the resident who hid the murder weapon from police (caught on body-cam AND the building’s own cameras) still lives here, still pays rent, still gets to feel perfectly safe. Management quietly reneged on their verbal promise to let terrified tenants break leases penalty-free, because why honor your word when you can keep that sweet deposit money?
If you enjoy Russian roulette with your personal safety, loud hallway weed sessions, police responding to out-of-control parties, and a management team that prioritizes protecting residents who tamper with homicide evidence over the rest of the paying tenants… congratulations, you’ve found your dream home.
My daughter has nightmares. I have screenshots, emails, and police reports. 505 has excuses and a shiny new ‘we’re removing security!’ newsletter.
Move here if you hate sleeping. Everyone else: run.”

Ever since Bryant Properties came in, the new staff they brought with them have been very cold and disrespectful towards residents.

If you want management that you can rely on don't live here...
CONS:
* Extra charges after moving in. * Unstable wifi. * Packages getting stolen and/or not received. * The new staff is extremely disrespectful and unreliable. *The new staff makes promises that they can't keep. * Management is extremely poor at maintaining communication. * Numerous requests asking if I want to renew my lease (after I've made it clear that I don't.)
Before I moved out, I called several times to find out when I was supposed to get my deposit. Different staff gave different... answers. I was promised confirmation emails, which I never received, and I was given various deposit estimates, which were not accurate. My deposit was supposed to arrive in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after I moved out (or so I was told) but when I called to check on the status today (a week after moving out) I was caught by surprise, yet again.
I was given various estimates for what I would receive in return, as well as assurances that I would have exact calculations within certain time frames (which did not happen). When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the process, I was told that I was actually receiving preferential treatment (despite being told multiple times in person and over email that what constitutes preferential treatment is actually standard procedure). Word of advice, please do not tell your tenants that you have the capacity to turn water into wine if you can't actually do that.
I usually go out of my way to avoid putting pressure on employees, especially those in the hospitality industry, because I understand how stressful those jobs can be. Most of us are out here just trying to survive, and I get that. But so am I.
It's crucial for me to know how much money I'm getting back and when I'm going to get it. And it is not unreasonable for me to expect a clear, documented, and timely response to the question "when and how much?" In conclusion, this is the first negative business review I have ever given. My overall experience at the 505 apartments was ok. But I will not miss the constant disorganization or the justifications for it. There are serious kinks in communication that need to be ironed out.
Pros The apartments themselves are beautiful and luxurious. It's also fairly quiet and peaceful.

Great environment and community feel
The amenities are the best in the area and the staff do fun events constantly. It was very easy to become friends with the other residents and staff. Have had no bad experiences here. Would recommend to anyone looking for student housing.

Security is too tight
Don’t enjoy having to fob in and out constantly. Huge inconvenience for me and my guest.
