For anybody renting in the Springfield area, stay FAR away from these apartments. I can’t say it loud enough! These people are liars, cheats, and will take money from you any chance they get. Their properties are “ran down” and bug infested. They allow their tenants to break lease and don’t follow up or hold them accountable. The parking lot is terrible and full of pot holes and trash. Tenants let their dogs crap all over the place. The first thing you smell when you walk out your door in the... morning is dog crap. Also, good luck getting ahold of anybody via email or phone. If you are wanting a drug free, bug free, clean, or quiet home to live in, this is not the place for you as many of the tenants use drugs. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Met Our Needs
These apartments are obviously a bit on the lower end of the rent spectrum as far as cost and overall quality. That being said, my husband and I feel that we have both had an overall positive experience at Maple Gardens. Of course the neighbors can be a bit careless with their noise or their dog poo, but as far as the maintenance and office team, they have been wonderful and prompt any time we have had a work order or any concerns. They have worked hard over the last year to update the place,... and it definitely helps! We have always felt as though we were living in a relatively safe and clean area.

A for effort?
They've done so much to improve the complex and revamp this property, I give them an A for effort... But there's still awful people here that trash the new things, no regard for rules or anyone else's property. The pool has been open less than a month and some punks broke the gate... You have to get a key from the office that they give you FOR FREE... There is absolutely NO REASON to break into the pool... People don't listen to picking up after pets so they had to hire someone just to keep the... grounds from being covered in crap... Some residents are rather nice and friendly, but the bad apples outweigh the good. It's a shame. This could be a great place to live, but you can't get rid of the crap easily... Been here for two leases but won't be renewing... Had too many negative experiences with said bad apples.

Regarding your concerns with other residents, we do ask that you report these incidents to the office so we can address the pool... break-ins, pet waste, etc. We strive to keep the property clean and policies enforced but things that happen outside of hours need to be reported so that we can try to address them with the parties involved.
