Leaving a review cause I also can't understand why this place isn't higher rated. Hands down this is THE best place I've lived in. My partner and I had a slew of tours including complexes, duplexes, private houses that were all pretty terrible and this was the saving grace when we first arrived here. Beautiful building, AMAZING staff, plenty of amenities and right in downtown KC. I really don't enjoy living in complexes, but this place is clean, has bike storage, safe spaces for deliveries, a... freight elevator for moving, thick walls etc etc I can go on forever! Im also incredibly impressed with their acceptance for people with not so great credit. Rarely do you get a luxury complex that will take a person with low credit, charge offs etc but Mark will work with you (without costing you an arm and a leg) to get you accepted. Do not be afraid of high prices either, the place is pretty affordable with the sheer size of the units and updated appliances, and pretty frequently they have discounts on rent that can be credited to you. I really love this place, hopefully this review can find a few others as well, and help people deciding on KC city living.

Fantastic Place
Only writing this because the first review gave The Mark a terrible review and I really can’t see why.
Been here for almost 2 years now. Place keeps getting better and better. Neighbors are friendly, place is kept clean, the decorations are always amazing. Every time I bring a friend over for the first time, they are stunned by the entrance and the basement and basically the entire building. Apartments are well kept, and if there’s ever any problem, maintenance comes and fixes it right away.... The maintenance guys are super nice and always do a perfect job. Our office ladies are fantastic too! They will help you with whatever they can. There are a lot of resident events too. Lots of younger, well-to-do people here too so it really does feel like a community. Speakeasy bar with membership is in the building too. Also the building has a lot of history for those architect and history buffs! Just check out the place, you won’t regret it.

Poor Maintenance
Maintenance will not fix your issues. They will simply come to your apartment and promise a resolution that will never happen. The elevator will have dog urine on the floor at least 4 days out of the week. This and the awful smell of unwashed dog that lingers from the dogs sitting on the elevator floor. Welcome home! The scraping sound in the elevator will make you think you are about to drop down to the basement like a scene from the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. No need for a white noise machine,... the nonstop sound of water running over your head at night is free. They will tell you it’s the HVAC. The continuous smell of weed flowing into your apartment due to the unsealed door jams will give you a nice club vibe. They send community post that violators will be fined but that doesn’t stop it. They promise luxury and charge you for it, but living here is far from luxury. Save your money and the credit inquiry and apply anywhere else.
