We loved this place, at first, in 2019, but by 3 months in, we'd seen five bedbugs and had never had them previously. Despite having our apartment fumigated multiple times, which was hard to get the landlords to do anyway, they always came back quickly. When we moved out, I realized the hallway was lined with them. What started as a young couple's dream 1920's hotel apartment quickly became a nightmare that still haunts us six years later.

The Ellison
My then-fiance found this place for us right before we got married. I kind of fell in love with it, as this is our first place as a married couple. The lobby area is clean and equipped with free wifi, the free laundry center is accessible 24-7, and the units themselves are spacious. The sprinkler system throughout our unit is an added bonus that makes me feel safe. The Ellison is just minutes from the Westport and Plaza areas, as well as downtown KCMO. Our little family loves staying here!
