The Otto is a beautiful facility. The decorators did an amazing job. However, as others have said, there are thin walls and floors so you can hear people walking above you and talking next door. They also send ALOT of text messages (almost 1-2/day). I get more text messages from them than I get from my friends and family. It gets to be a bit much.

Very happy I made the move here after 15 years in Minneapolis. Amenities/location is great. More importantly, clean, safe, quiet and responsive property managers.

I have lived here for about a year now and I am really enjoying it. The apartment itself has great natural light, updated appliances, very modern and quiet neighbors. I also have a medium sized dog and we really enjoy the pet spa and dog park for him to run around in! I would recommend living here!!

Bright open floor plans with lots of space. Amenities that make having a pet easier like the pet spa and dog run. We love the coffee bar, patios and gym. All close to everything Waconia has to offer.

After staying at The Otto for almost 9 months, I can confidently say that it is one of the best managed properties in Waconia. Right from Katie helping us in a very smooth move in, to being very transparent about all the fees, crystal clear communication, prompt maintenance, and the current management going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable time for all the residents, it has been a great experience for me and my partner.
The units are modern, with really nice kitchen appliances and lots... of windows for natural light. The units on the back side face a wooded area, which you'll love if you're a nature lover.
They have a dedicated package room and the management puts in efforts to arrange packages by floor, so you can find yours right away.
The Otto also has great amenities, including a gym with a good variety of equipment as well as a yoga studio. There are also a couple of outdoor areas with grills and seating if you plan on having parties. The theater room is amazing for a movie night.
The apartment is pet friendly and there is enough area around the building to walk your dogs or play fetch with them.
The location is ideal, being at a walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The Target in Waconia is only a 5 minute drive away.
For anyone who wants to live in a modern apartment, where the management really cares about the residents, The Otto is a go-to.
