I moved in with a couple friends into a 3-bed, 2-bath apartment with in-unit laundry. That part was fantastic (the laundry), and the fact we had a balcony that looked out onto the highway. The quality of the cabinets and the appliances was amazing, plus the amount of cupboard space you had is enough if you share the same dishes with the people you live with.

The thing that got all three of us was just the price of everything. We knew that going in but when it came down to our monthly bills,... utilities, and extra fees, it got to be about $300-$400 more than our base rent. Not to mention that surface lot parking is $30 PER month PER car and only ONE comes on the lease, even for a 3-bedroom. Add on two cats to that, deposits/pet rent, and the fees for community sharing, it got to be pretty expensive.

I will say that the management did change during our lease (don't remember when), they were all pretty nice. Once you put in a service request, they were good about coming in and fixing whatever the issue was. This placed recently changed property management companies. To put it nicely, they are worse than the previous owners/property management company. From the running up and down the hallway, to the dogs pissing in the elevator, to the dogs pooping in the hallway, to the overflow of trash, no working key FOBS, disrespectful and dismissive manager, lack of parking at your own building, etc. Any issue you can think of you will have it hear! Recently took a tour at Lexington lofts and they were great. They were very updated, spacious and looks like a quiet and friendly community. There were plenty of activities to participate in the facility while still having privacy. My tour guide Melinda was very informative. She did a great job with showing exactly what Lexington has to offer. I would definitely recommend this facility for comfortable living. Thank you Melinda once again for a great tour.
