The Dubliner is located in Hopkins, MN in the 55343 zip code.
Way overpriced for what that apartment is. Just switched to non-smoking but didn't do anything to take the smoke smell out of the building. Hallways and stairways are torn up and shabby and rarely cleaned.
Apartment uses the cheapest materials available and it shows with excess noise from all areas and a horrible draft through the whole apartment, air conditioning bill was the same as a whole house with central AC.
Management is unresponsive and negligent, water was shut off without notice and... we were not told when it would be functioning again. Multiple days to get responses for basic questions and we eventually stopped putting in maintenance reports because they were being ignored. Fire doors were not shutting properly and during the winter one of the outside doors would get stuck open which would allow anyone in the building.
Garages and parking lot are decrepit and crumbling with extremely tight space to fit your car in. Multiple times got our parking spot covered with snow after the lot got plowed and was unable to park.
Terribly run apartment that is being run into the ground with no investment. Will probably be demolished in the next few years and replaced. Do not recommend.

Maintenance issues & Mice
There is an issue with mice that started last year and wasn’t addressed until the building walls were infested. They claim the issue was resolved, but it just happened to be that time of year when mice move back outdoors. Once again the issue has begun, 2 emails to Cepco, an in person visit & 42 texts later I’m getting minimal results. They do not have a maintenance person or bother to hire anyone to take care of maintenance issues. If things break or are need of repair they stay that way. ... The building has become terribly run down inside and out, garages leak and roof is caving in. Cepco Management Company is less than concerned with complaints. The onsite property manager doesn’t have the authority to approve repairs, and is only supposed to be here to clean and show vacancies. I have lived here 17 years and never seen a property fall apart in such a short period of time.

Property Manager at The Dubliner responded to this review
Hello, I'm sorry you had a negative experience with the Dubliner Apartments. We take maintenance requests seriously and we followed up on your emails. We had two different pest control company's look at the building and identify any possibly entry... point. All possibly exterior entry points that we found were patched and filled. The interior of the unit was also inspected and the walls were patched. All repairs and grievances have been acknowledged and resolved. We have not heard that there has been any further issue. Please give us a call if you further concerns. Thank you.
