Don’t be fooled by the photos.

The grounds are littered with garbage, cigarette butts, and dog waste. The landscaping is poorly maintained. The winter plowing and shoveling is terrible. Vehicles frequently are unable to get out of the parking lot.

Common areas, like hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and the trash room, are dirty and often have unpleasant odors of garbage and animal urine.

The underground heated parking garage is a valuable amenity, but it has ongoing maintenance issues,... including leaking pipes, flickering or burned-out lights, accumulated garbage, and excessive dust and dirt. The garage door regularly malfunctions and fails to open, and the garage door openers provided to residents frequently fail due to internal component issues. There is no handicap-accessible push button on the door leading from the garage to the elevator. The door is extremely heavy and may present challenges for individuals.

Preventative maintenance is nonexistent. Things are not addressed until after something breaks, and repairs can take a considerable amount of time. For example, two exterior entry doors do not consistently latch properly, creating security concerns. Management has been aware of this issue for more than a year, yet it remains unresolved.

There have been flooding incidents on the second floor that resulted in water entering first-floor apartments. Following these incidents, there was not any thorough drying or remediation efforts.

Communication from management is extremely frustrating. Residents regularly receive letters in our doors, with conflicting information like stating that it’s a smoke free property and that smokers must smoke across the parking lot which is still the property. Management is constantly trying to enforce new rules and expectations that are not outlined in either the lease agreement or the resident handbook.

Management tells residents “don’t be friends with your neighbors,” which has contributed to an atmosphere of tension, distrust, and unnecessary drama. The focus often appears to be more on policing resident behavior than addressing property concerns and improving living conditions.

Clear Sky had the potential to be a great place to live. Unfortunately, management has ruined that.

I love this property I moved in here February 2024. I love how spacious it is! The management here are phenomenal, and I would love if more affordable housing like this was built in this town and other counties of Sherburne county. I highly recommend these apartments!!
