Very nice house directly across the street from UMD. Off street parking available for 4 vehicles plus a single car garage for storage. The house has been well maintained and has newer appliances, flooring, bathroom... , and kitchen.
There is two medium size bedrooms on the main floor, one large bedroom upstairs and one smaller bedroom downstairs with a bonus living room.
This is a very energy efficient home with upgrades to windows, siding, and roof. The new furnace helps keep utility bills low. Washer, dryer and dishwasher are included. All other utilities are paid by renters (ranging from $30-$40/month per person depending on usage). Previous renters stated the utilities for the house were very economical. The furnace and water heater are natural gas, all other appliances are electric.
Renters are expected to maintain the lawn (mowing, trimming, raking). A lawn mower and rakes are in the garage. Snow must be cleared from the public sidewalk within 24 hours of a snowfall per City of Duluth ordinance.
Garbage service is also included. Sorry there are no pets allowed. This house is available June 1,2024.
We offer a nice, clean, updated and well-maintained home. In return, we expect our renters to take good care of it. The property is licensed as a rental with the City of Duluth and is inspected regularly. We began renting in 2003 and have never had any violations. The City is very strict in regards to noise, parties, parking, garbage … Even more so around UMD. Any violation would jeopardize our rental license. Thus we are very picky with who we rent to and how our home is cared for.
The garage is used for storage of renter’s belongings like bikes, snowboards, etc. and then some of our house supplies (lumber, yard tools, etc.) We do not recommend using the garage for cars as it is quite small. The gas fireplace is for show, not for use and has been turned off.
