I rented a unit in Lakewood Apartments when it was managed by Lloyd Management and everything was great. The Apartments were kept very clean and managed great.
In January 2016 Lloyd Management turned over the property Management to Moke Properties LLC based out of Fergus Falls. After that, the Apartments went downhill. The hallways in the apartment units are stained with motor oil, laundry machines are constantly broken and the coin trays full, and the only time Management appears to come to... the building is to pick up their rent checks. Spend your hard earned money on another apartment.

Lakewood Apartments
The apartment building itself is a little older, but kept very clean. All of the appliances are in good condition. Rent is reasonable for the area, many others are way too high. If you face North, you have a great view of Lake Agnes, and the very friendly ducks that visit the lot. Nothing beats sitting on your deck on a cool Minnesota summer evening and watching the sun go down over the lake. The apartments are very close to a walking/bike path that stretches for miles and is great for... walking/running. You are only a few blocks from a grocery store and Caribou coffee. The neighbors seem to be a healthy mix of police cadets and older people, so very quiet. Garages are available if you need and have a good amount of room for a car/storage.
