Smooth Move In

Been out here for a short period of time and honestly I don't have any complaints. The paperwork process is strict, but I like that because it shows that they are careful with who they let move into the community. My neighbors are pretty good and it always pretty quiet in my area especially at night. The 3-bedroom townhome is very spacious. All the other townhomes in Pontiac and surrounding cities definitely don't offer or have this much space for this price. If anything those places cost more... and are smaller. Regardless of the other reviews, I am happy with my move, I love my unit and I haven't had any problems. I mind my business and stay out of the way

Current Tenant

I’ve been living here at turtle creek apartments for 2yrs now & the neighborhood is quiet , friendly neighbors as well the office & maintenance stays on top of things for any & every repairs . Dave who is the manager is very patient & understanding when It comes to the tenants. I wanted to create this post due to seeing old reviews about turtle creek but come on down & see for yourself never go by word of mouth ! Very lovely & it’s worth the process :)

Love it

Maintenance is punctual, Carol is professional but strict inwhich I believe for good reasons. She has to managea huge property and she wants everyone to be safe. I love it's centrally located, my kids play in the pool every summer its clean and safe and its close whenever the weather is not safe. We will be homeowners so, butif we wasn't we would stay another year. The complex is diverse, its clean the grass is always cut. My only concern is how icy the property gets due to it needing to be... repaved. Carol believes in keep tenants safe at all cost. So you are causing trouble she will address the situation. She always en ourages neighbors to be respectful one another, and to tall about issues. I love it her, I have always been able to talk with Carol. She's strong, strict but fair.

Worst Choice

The Landlord is manipulative and the rent that the management charges is not worth the apartments that they rent out to people.
The landlord has overly strict rules and is very diloyal to tenants I highly suggest anyone who wants to move to turtle creek apartments think twice before u do it

I am Carol Ferguson, the Property Manager of Turtle Creek Apartments. I am proud to say I am the Property Manager because we have a modest goal: to ensure everyone that moves in has a safe and healthy home.

My crew and I take much pride in our... work, unfortunately, some people move-out leaving an apartment that needs an overhaul.

So, please when you move-in, complete the move-in worksheet and return it with-in 7 days of moving in. If the move-in worksheet is not returned timely, then person(s) is charged for all damages at move-out.

Now, to say I have strict rules, just like anywhere else... we do not accept poor behavior and encourage respect with all. If you break the bathroom door in 1/2, well then, you will pay for it. If you think your boyfriend can just move-in without criminal background check, you are wrong, I may not be able to evict him (as he is not on lease), however; I can and will evict leaseholder.

This community has person(s) from all over the world, most especially children...no, children are not allowed to play under carports or in the street.

So, I ask at lease signing if you don't agree with rules, there is no need to move-in. The lease also has an option for you to take lease to attorney of your choice prior to signing it. We always recommend it's your choice, we can hold it for 24-48 hours so you may consult with attorney.

Here is the best part, I don't go looking for violators, it just lands in my lap.
