Kabo Flats is a new mixed-use, mixed-income residential community coming to Boston Square in early summer 2026. Designed with years of community input, Kabo Flats offers modern, spacious apartments for individuals and families, along with shared amenities that foster connection and healthy living. With on-site management, community spaces, and ground-floor commercial space for local entrepreneurs, Kabo Flats is a key part of Boston Square Together, a neighborhood-wide redevelopment initiative focused on long-term community investment. Led by Amplify GR, Oakdale Neighbors, the Boston Square Neighborhood Association, and the City of Grand Rapids, the effort reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Boston Square through inclusive, community-driven development. Planned improvements include new public parks, approximately 40,000 square feet of retail space, and more than 250 new housing units spanning both rental and homeownership options.
