Mimosa
I've been here 4 years and I've never seen a bedbug, could have been before my time but no problems thus far.

Sorry but...
All was well until the BED BUGS showed up, shortly after moving in. It’s a problem, a real problem, and I’m not the only one experiencing it. From the basement to the top floor. Exterminator was brought in months after the initial siting, and only brought out once. In a building of 40+ units, one visit isn’t going to do anything. Lived in an old building on the east side for two years before I came here and never had a problem.
To be fair, i don’t think it’s a reflection on anyone but the... owner. Don’t run an apartment building if you’re not willing to protect your tenants and pay whatever it costs to protect the asset that is your building.
I loved The Mimosa while I was there, it had long term potential, and it is full of kind folk. But waking up with bites all over my body, trying countless, expensive means of dealing with the issue to no avail, and killing bugs that are full of my blood is not my idea of a comfortable living situation. Hard pass until they can guarantee this isn’t an issue, and with the owner who’s here, I don’t think that’s happening any time soon.
