Clean, Comfortable & Convenient
Greenway Park Apartments' renovated ONE BEDROOM units are attractive, affordable, and comfortable.
[MY NEEDS]: I'm a working professional at U of M and an evening student at WCC. I need a quiet and comfortable community to support my busy day/evening schedule, efficient public transportation (local/out-of-state), and hassle-free parking for when I go out-of-state and to host friends and family.
[WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THE AREA]: - New open parking lots. - U of M, EMU, and WCC readily accessible by... car or AATA #4. - Greyhound stop in Ann Arbor easily accessible by AATA #4. - 24-Hour Laundromat around the corner on Washtenaw Ave. - Meijer, Kroger's, Whole Foods are all about 5min drive away. - Neighborhood is mostly quiet, normal, and boring--in a good way!
[WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THE 1 BR UNIT]: - LOTS of space! Four closets, one fits a desk and chair. - Unit-controlled central air for heat, AC, or just ventilation. - Kitchen: Equipped with excellent counter-top cooking space, double sinks, standard fridge, large oven, dish washer, stove-top ventilation, plenty of wooden cupboard space, hardwood floor, and plenty of room for a 4-seater dining table, plus kitchen cart if you need more storage or cooking space. Spotless. - Bathroom: Large stone tile floor makes it easy to clean. Plenty of counter-top space. Huge mirror with an attractive series of vanity lights to prep yourself with ease. Best apartment tub and shower I've ever had, with great water flow and easy temperature control. Immaculate.
[WHAT'S NOT SO GREAT]: (Being Nitpicky) - Utilities covered by rent only includes water. - Laundry facilities are old and limited. (Go to the laundromat.) - Windows are a little old and takes some jiggling to seal. - Bathroom has no medicine cabinet. - Carpeting is a bit old, but everything else is in such good condition, I'm willing to steam clean myself to revitalize it. Overall, pretty minor issues.
[CONFLICTING & BAD REVIEWS]: I've read a lot of mixed reviews about this place under different management, but I considered it after seeing that Barnes & Barnes is currently managing. The only reason I cared was because of the good things I've heard from a friend and former tenant of the company. From what I can see, I don't think the old reviews are accurate anymore. It looks like they have been turning things around and are continuing that trend.
