I would not recommend moving here.
Soon after I moved in, a pipe burst on the second floor. That disaster kicked off more than six weeks of construction happening nearly every day from early morning to evening. It’s still not completely resolved.
During that same period, I was without heat for eight days. I tried to reach management several times and got nowhere.
The building itself is poorly finished. The floors are uneven, leaving large gaps under the doors. You can hear private conversations from neighboring units even when... their doors are closed. The hallways are bare cement, so every footstep and door slam echoes. Your sleep will struggle significantly here.
Management has been the hardest part. When I asked for reasonable compensation after the flood and the days without heat, I was told, “I’m gonna tell you one more time, please don’t email me anymore.” I was stunned. Instead of problem solving, they shut down communication.
My unit has also flooded twice from the washing machine.
It’s probably not a coincidence that both the building manager and assistant manager left right after the company sent out a tenant satisfaction survey.
I came here expecting a safe, functional home. What I’ve experienced is the opposite. I hope sharing this helps others make an informed decision.
