__Pets__
We don’t have any pets. We do not want a dog in the house.
__Costs___
Utilities included: Internet, Regular Garbage collection, Gardening, Snow Plowing
Utilities with bills shared between occupants (owners always pay 1 share): Water/Sewer, Gas, Electricity, Wood for stove (so when we are full with 6 including you, plus owners, you’ll pay a 1/7 portion). Additional fixed cost for basic house cleaning $30 per month each.
__Lease__
Lease term: 6 months minimum (unless specifically a 3-month summer-only internship), then month-to-month. Although we have a valid Innkeeper’s License from the City in order to rent out rooms, we have no intention of taking short term guests. One per room avoids overload in common areas.
Deposit: $1050 + (first month prorated according to date)
__House rules__
NO SMOKING, or vaping anything, and NO DRUGS on the premises (house and land) please - no exceptions. No subletting. We require everyone takes out their own renters' insurance. We allow occasional short-term guests only.
__What’s next?__
If you like what you see, write to us by email (no! don't phone please!) and tell us a bit about yourself. We will chat a bit and then give you a chance to meet us and to see the place (we can do this by video with a live tour and conversation with us all). If we all agree you are a good fit, we'll ask you to submit your details into a system where we'll run a background check (and you'll pay $25 for that). Happy room-hunting!
