Beware
I'll say what's good about the place first. It's close to UMES and Wor-Wic and if you work locally. The rent is decent. Full size washer and dryer, decent working AC unit. Now for the bad. Screens on windows are torn and nasty looking. My bedroom did not have a screen and the manager Chelsea told me 10 months ago that I wound get one in the spring. She lied. When I asked her about it again in early summer she gave me the most bogus excuse I've ever heard. She said all windows in the apartment... complex are a completely different size and therefore it's impossible to size them correctly so she can't get me one. What a crock of malarkey !! Next ongoing issue: there are neighbors who moved in upstairs about 7 weeks ago and they are an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! It's a family of 4 and the parents let the unruly kids do whatever they want all day long and well into the evening too! . Thumping, jumping, screaming, running, crying all day long and up til 11pm at night. UNACCEPTABLE!! It's insane. I have never encountered such disrespectful neighbors in my life. I had to call the state police twice on them. I have emailed Chelsea over 20 times now over this and she keeps lying and being deceitful trying to sweep it under the rug. Um no Chelsea I deserve to live in peace. She told me 3 weeks ago that they were moving the family into a different building on the complex. Lie! that never happened. Then she told me last week that this week they are doing the walk thru and getting the keys to move them. Lies again !!! No sign of them packing or moving and the horrible auditory nightmare above continues day and night. Thumping jumping screaming crying running. UNACCEPTABLE !! The parents do not discipline the unruly kids at all. I told Chelsea I will be breaking my lease if the insanity above me is not fixed soon or if they are not moved to other building soon. I cannot study. I can never sleep in. I can never watch tv in peace. I can never take a nap if I want. It's just nonstop noise. Beware of this place. Beware of management they lie and tell you anything just to sweep the issue under the rug. Not my idea of a good property manager
