I moved in Jan of 2025, and just renewed my lease. I was skeptical bc of all the reviews about mice, roaches, and surprise fees. Maybe that was all true with previous management but since I’VE been here I haven’t seen not one mouse inside or outside my apartment. Now, there are so big issues, but they are clearly aware and they mandate that you clear your cabinets and drawers maybe twice a year to do pest control. I’ve also requested it in my own and they sent someone out within a day or so. I... haven’t experienced surprise fees, but when I’ve had a discrepancy or I didn’t understand Simone has been excellent in clearing up any misunderstandings and she’s accommodating. Tbh most of the staff is very nice and friendly. I imagine if you go in there huffing and fussing, they won’t be as adamant to help. Maintenance is nice too, I’ve never had a problem with them, and they always come out quickly. There has been times where maintenance took a day or two but considering how HUGE the property is…it makes sense. HOWEVER, when paint was chipping in my apartment and I explained I have a 1 year old, someone came within 10min! Saying that to say…I believe they prioritize safety. There has to be about a thousand units here. There are cute little dog parks, and a little playground for kids (this could be upgraded bc the kids really do use it). The area feels generally safe, we have gotten emails to alert us for suspicious activity before. The only reason why I couldn’t give this place all 5 stars is because I personally feel the rent is excessive without a concession. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I currently live here. Lease ends April 2025. Since I been in here, there have been a non-stop infestation of roaches galore. It took 4 months for them to actually consistently treat my house and they still didn’t do it the way I asked to annihilate the problem. I even consulted professional exterminators outside of the property and they said they could have the problem fixed in less than 1 month. Almost 6 months into my lease and they still haven’t... fixed the problem. My neighbor said the roaches have been here since the last tenant which let’s me know the leasing
Office didn’t do their job to thoroughly clean. One of the managers even admitted that she forgot to do a deep clean before I moved in because I changed my move in date so she was unprepared. Which is still no excuse. Before I changed my move in date to move it up, I asked if it was okay and was told it was fine. Just now I found some sort of possessed looking cricket cockroach in my bath run which had to come from the skyline I asked them to seal up months ago. Apparently they didn’t do it right. I was sleeping in my bed, which I keep spotless BTW, no food or trash, and at 3:41am I roach was crawling on my arm. This house is a nightmare. If it was legal to burn it to the ground I would. But I can’t so the next best thing is to go to WJZ, ABC News and CNN and give them an exclusive on how poorly this company treats their property. BE MINDFUL I AM NOT GOING TO BURN THIS HOUSE DOWN. I seen signs when I came to view the place but silly me for ignoring them. This place has a roach infestation!!! Leaking roofs, and unprofessional service. I’m begging y’all DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will regret it.
