I've just recently moved out of staying at highland ridge for 2 1/2 years. When I 1st moved in everything seemed to be ok. The management is very sweet and understandable. There's no rodents but I did face a bad case of roaches that probably came from someones else's apartment. Towards the end is where I seen the the real Highland Ridge. I was standing at my car when someone literally walked passed and started shooting. That's when I knew it was time to go!! With that && a homeless man living in... a laundry room stinking up the entire building and also the fighting from my neighbors and smoking lots of weed in the hallways push me out! I can say that since they have changed company's I do see the improvement. I was in an older model but the new ones look great! The price is very reasonable but as they always say "its too good to be true"

Not a good choice
This place is horrible...from bed bugs to mice to noisy/violent neighbors. Save yourself the headache

Good or Bad
The building will have alot of weed smell in hallway. Neighbors mind they business. The maintenance is slow. No mices The summer time always looks like a neighborhood cookout. I like my 1 bedroom apt but it's not enough space so I will habe to move.

For Better or For Worse
It's "for better or for worse" when moving into this complex. You have to understand that not everything is going to work properly, that the maintenance will be slow to move and your neighbors are not the most upstanding of citizens. With that said there are a few pros to living here as well... There are no little rodents, the only pest I've faced so far are ants during the warmer seasons. There are a lot of metro options to choose from and there's a grocery store literally across the street... from the complex. If this is your first apartment and you're accustom to living in "low income environments" I would suggest moving here and using this experience to grind hard and never come back again.
