This was the first apartment that I rented after a very trying divorce. I was finally out of an eleven year abusive marriage;but I still didn't feel safe. So I moved out of the state I was living in to Massachusetts;& into these apartments with my two young daughters. I absolutely loved it there. The size of the 2bdrm was only 8sq ft smaller than the house I had just sold. And the balcony was such a nice feature. It brought the outside "in" yet still kept my kids safe. The safety was the biggest... plus for me. You couldn't enter the building unless you had a key or you were buzzed in by a tenant who knew you. That feature alone should be a must on all buildings with multiple apartments. The only downside was the coin op. A washer dryer hook up would have been amazing. And honestly, if the apartments were upgraded & had w/d hook ups now; I'd move back in today. Even though I'm looking for a 2bdrm,1.5-2bath. I'd give up that 1/2 bath for the safety & the hook ups. :) Thank you Lakewood Terrace for being there,& for being exactly what I needed back in 2006-2008. I only moved because my family grew,& we needed more room. Otherwise, I'd probably still be there!
