This is an incredibly unique, beautiful, quiet apartment complex housed within a mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The original part of the house was a raised Louisiana Cottage built in 1814, then an addition was added in... 1860, then the brick castle enclosure of the existing buildings - with the addition of the porte cochere and turrets - in 1910. In the 1940s apartments were created within the structure to help the family get by during the depression.

Each apartment is one-of-a-kind. All utilities are included with the rental fee (water, electric, fast internet, sewer, trash). These apartments each have their own character, Some are newly renovated while others sometimes have old kitchen/bathroom facilities, so you trade unique and fascinating for modern and updated. The house is situated on 5 beautiful acres with old, old live oaks, magnolias, crepe myrtles, cedar, camellias...did I say camellias?!. Loads of hydrangeas, lilies, roses, holly, azaleas. The completely fenced in grounds, with a gated entrance, include a family graveyard, old 1700s wine house, carriage house, picnic areas, onsite laundry facilities, and acres of lawn, trees, beauty.

Sometimes we host weddings and other events on the property. Occasionally we provide tours of the grounds and the main house.
