I lived at Canterbury for almost 5 years, and it is a nice place to live. However, don't expect to get your deposit back at the end of your lease. They charge you a cleaning fee of $ 85.00 (required), they also paint every apartment (or supposed too) upon the tenant leaving, (which you pay a portion of), mine was $ 456.00 (even though the apartment wasn't painted when I moved in). AND if your apartment has carpet in the living room, please be aware that they are changing that carpet out to... vinyl flooring and you will also have to pay a portion of carpet removal and installation of the new flooring. In total, my invoice after leaving was over $ 1, 500.00!!! Please be aware!!

Management
Here at Canterbury, the apartment's manager does a very good job with the communicating with residents. She listens and usually handles the concerns. If she can't, she is very direct as to why. This sort of honesty is unusual today but it is that characteristic of the manager that keeps me put at Canterbury.

Great place to live!
This place is great. Beautiful grounds and great location. Close to everything you need and close to freeways without the noise you would expect. Everyone here is friendly and have had no bad experiences since I have moved here.
