I moved into the apartments at jaguar plaza, a few months after the flood.... The apartments seemed overpriced for the space and location, but like everyone else I snatched what I could get.... When I moved in the apartment it was filthy and hadn't been cleaned after the previous tenant... I was given no explanation. Hesitantly, I moved in anyways only to find a infestation of roaches and spiders... I have had several unpleasant run-ins with the manager..She is rude, disrespectful and uses her... title as a way to intimidate tenants. She has threatened to evict people of trivial disagreements...She is messy and nosey... She has a group of messing non working tenants that stays in her office instigating confusion among hard working tenants..She enters people's apartments without warning..There is nothing but a bunch of weed smoking go on which she refuses to address...I seen three people overdose on drugs, but the managers main concern is keeping children from playing outside or swimming in the pool that is slap dab in the middle of the apartments...Don't rent here run.....

This is a wonderful apartment complex but we went through a storm and my family was affected and I had to help out family members with housing elsewhere and my rent was late the last few months. So, my standing right now is that my family is getting a Fema trailer on their property and I am doing better but they say they will not accept my money to pay rent. We have nowhere to go because of all the other apt complexes being full so we will be on the streets. I told the manager, who does not care... when I pleaded with her to please accept our money in the present, she only said that the owners will not accept it and she doesn't want to seem coldhearted. So, everyone just research before you move anywhere. And I say to the owners, this manger is going to run your company in the ground with the security being weed smokers just as to renters. And the maintenance man working on cars in the parking lot and looking like a serial killer. I like the apts. they were wonderful when I first came in January, but now it's heartless.
