The units are fine in the sense that it has updated appliances, nothing major wrong with it, and genuinely looks nice. However, the management leaves a lot to be desired as there has been lots of miscommunication. My lease was 15 months started at the beginning of a summer and the air conditioning went out last August for more than 2 weeks and then over a week in May this year, and you can't open the windows so it was high 80s when the air finally came back on. They did give us a small cut from... electrical last year for it, but nothing this year. When we signed we started moving into our apartment and found an alive roach in the middle of the living room and 4 dead under the dishwasher, all while we had family helping move us in. They put us in a different apartment of the same style and told us this was a freak thing.... now we see roaches leading from the building to the parking garage weekly, and find small ones in our unit monthly we're told come in from the neighbors as we keep our unit very clean. On a positive note, they do spray for bugs weekly and you can request that they spray in your unit for free. All in all it's not a horrible apartment, but I believe we pay far too much for what we are getting both with having a tiny unit and with not being treated respectfully by management. We will not be renewing our lease, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we weren't in a position to get out of it.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!
This apartment is a pathetic excuse for a “luxury apartment.” The newly renovated units looked good initially, but after looking for more than 2 seconds, the quality of the renovations was very poor. There were major gaps between the counter tops and cabinets and very noticeable curves in the wall and trim, to name a few defects. Not to mention the fact that the entire apartment was still covered in sawdust when I moved in and personal items were still left from the construction crew.
This... apartment also fails to provide the basics that are expected from any property. The hot water frequently went out, especially during the winter. But that’s nothing compared to the A/C issues. It regularly breaks at least 2-3 times per month. Most times it was for a day or two, but several times it was to the tune of multiple weeks during the summer. It was made even more unbearable by the fact that the apartments have no ceiling fans and the windows are sealed shut. Summer 2022 the A/C went out for 6 days and my apartment reached a high of 95° during that time. They gave us a discount off our rent the next month, but not enough to cover hotels for every night the building was uninhabitable, and some people may not have had money at the time to stay elsewhere since the discount came later. Then every other time the A/C went out, they claimed it was “unexpected maintenance” or “unforeseen circumstances.” It’s not unexpected when it happens that often.
Clearly the management company doesn’t want to pay for quality permanent repairs and would rather have their residents suffer. They also refused to offer any discount because “it wasn’t as hot as last summer.” This is completely unacceptable treatment of residents who pay for a comfortable place to live. When I moved out, the A/C was broken yet again. It was unbearable in my unit for 2 weeks and they still refused any compensation, other than offering ice cream to residents one day. The management company, Amp Residential obviously cares only about profits and not about providing a comfortable place for people to live. In addition to all of this, the area also has frequent major crime and other residents constantly smoke in their apartments with heavy fumes making their way into other units.
All of the issues are clearly from the management company’s lack of concern for their residents. I spent 14 months here, and I would never recommend this apartment or any of Amp Residential’s properties to anyone.

RUN RUNN RUNNN!!!!
If I could give negative 5stars I would. I do not recommend to anyone!! Lived here for almost a year in April. Anything that could go wrong went wrong!!!! From no hot water, to no heat in the winter, to no air in the summer for weeks at a time. They only lowered the rent once for the no heat but it was so hot in here it was at least 90 degrees with no windows to circulate air. Homeless right in front of the building constantly. Dog poop and pee in the elevator constantly. Elevators have dropped... a few time with people in them. There’s huge bugs. Maintenance barely knocks before entering! You must may for parking that should be included in this high rent! We’ve paid rent on time the entire year and the one time we’re late they send you to the court so fast and request a $195 fee even after the rent is already paid. I can only imagine the fees that will be applied after move out! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Terrible Place. Owned by out of town corporation. Misleading. DO NOT RENT.
I cannot express in words how terrible this place is. Air conditioning often goes out. Got over 95 degrees in apartments without ventilation. Extremely Dangerous. Management impossible to reach. They have hired someone to run all social media and any negative posts are hidden. Dangerous. Mismanaged. Misleading. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Definitely won’t be renewing my lease
I just want to preface with saying that the apartment was brand new and it’s honestly a good space, if you can afford it.
That being said, it comes with a wide range of problems. Heat was out for 5 days when it was 20 degrees outside. They will charge you for utilities even if you’re on vacation. Walls are paper thin. Pool has been closed since I moved here in August. Gym is in a horrible place (right in front of the lobby so everyone has to see you all sweaty). Elevators take forever and... smell horrible. The leasing office never gets back to you timely.
There are some good things though. Maintenance lives on site so they fix stuff quickly. Location is convenient. The view is pretty. People at the front desk are nice.
