I would not recommend living here. I lived here for nearly 3 years and had nothing but constant issues. The apartments are very old, have not been well maintained, and as a result have significant issues. I experienced mold three separate times, one instance so severe that it required us to completely move out of the unit because the mold had completely overrun the kitchen, ruined many of our belongings, and rendered the apartment a safety hazard. The mold was so bad that to fix the issue... required completely taking out the kitchen cabinets and flooring. I was surprised to see the unit rented out again just a few weeks later and wonder if sufficient measures were taken to fix the issue, which was quite pervasive. The other two instances were more minor, but the presence of mold repeatedly speaks to a greater issue. I was told by the property manager that mold is completely normal and unavoidable. I found this quite shocking. If you do not wish to live with mold, do not live here. Beyond the mold, we also had a litany of other issues including several ceiling leaks and AC problems. During the first two years I lived here, two of my neighbors also suffered very significant maintenance issues, one also having to move out of their unit as a result. The maintenance staff are very kind and willing to help, despite the long list of repairs they have at seemingly all times. Unfortunately for them, they are fighting an uphill battle with premises that are constantly breaking down despite their best efforts. The extra space in these apartments and the “townhome” style is very appealing. Do not make the same mistake I did and let this appeal convince you that dealing with other significant issues is worth it.

You won't find a more cozy place to live in town. From the beautiful pond to the friendly staff Saddlebrook offers an unparalleled experience. The privacy offer by the set up is really something that set it apart for me. The icing on the cake is the thoughtful and kind team that cares for every resident human or furry.

The team has been friendly and easy to work with, and maintenance has been quick to respond when needed. Overall, it’s just a comfortable, easy place to live.

Where does all my rent money go? Anytime it rains heavy water comes in through the walls. Smoke free? Not so much. Smells of the most horrid kind pass from unit to unit. Pathway and parking lighting is most conducive for stalkers and kidnappers. There is a reason cars get broken into consistently. The office is always open and greets with a smile - super dog friendly too. The maintenance is always very responsive and easy to work with and talk to. All staff is super respectful and tenants are super nice. Never hear my neighbors which is super nice all around. Office takes requests seriously and great price for all the amenities.
